John Kosner leads all of ESPN’s Digital and Print Media operations, including ESPN.com, the world’s leading online sports service; ESPN3.com, ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network; all content development for Mobile, Local, Fantasy, Gaming, and other emerging digital media; ESPN The Magazine, ESPN High School and espnW.

Kosner has overseen ESPN.com since 2003, a period of tremendous growth and industry recognition for ESPN, during which Kosner and his team established a clear leadership position for ESPN Digital Media. Among the most recent highlights are the launch of ESPN Local sites (Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York), the successful redesign of ESPN.com, and the rapid growth of ESPN Mobile and ESPN3.com.

Kosner, a 27-year veteran of sports media, joined ESPN.com in 1999. Prior to ESPN, Kosner worked at CBS Sports, the NBA (where he led the league’s broadcasting department for seven years) and Sports Illustrated, where he developed television and interactive programming for Sports Illustrated and SI for Kids magazines.

Kosner was graduated with distinction from Stanford University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History.
