Barnes & Noble Nook Developer Workshop Added to Schedule on Oct. 27th
Barnes & Noble will host a NOOK Developer workshop October 27 at the App Dev Conference. The developer community will have the opportunity to meet the Barnes & Noble NOOK Developer for a deep dive into all the technical details of developing and offering applications for the award-winning NOOK Color™ Reader’s Tablet™. The session will cover the compelling business opportunity for developers to offer NOOK Apps™ to an audience of millions of NOOK Color customers, developing applications for the NOOK Color platform, application submission and approval process and NOOK Color APIs. AppDev Hackathon Announced for Oct. 27th
We are pleased to announce the AppDev Hackathon and Bootcamp taking place Oct. 27 at the Santa Clara Convention Center alongside the App Dev Conf. Not your traditional hack, the AppDev Hackathon and Bootcamp features hands on training classes on the latest technologies and trends that can help you build better apps. New and experienced developers will learn new skills, build mobile apps, compete for prizes, and most importantly – meet people and find teammates for new or current projects. App Dev Hack is produced in conjunction with the excellent folks over at appMobi and Mobile{Dev}Sync.
We are pleased to welcome Chris Martin, Vice President of Engineering at Pandora as a our first announced conference keynote. There is likely no other company which has achieved greater app success on so many platforms: Over 200 consumer electronics devices and 100 million registered users. In his keynote presentation: The Pandora App Universe, How We Got Here, How We’ll Grow, Chris will address how the internet radio company has successfully implemented technical integrations into more than 200 consumer products, including televisions, tablets, phones, cars…even refrigerators…and more.
